This is a simplified methodology for inputting / estimating the main friction for the conveyor.

When this method is selected, an input box allows the user to input a specific friction factor for the conveyor. It an be adjusted for speed and/or temperature.

 

 

This window can be recalled for editing by clicking on the "Friction Coefficient f Friction Factor" display box on the main screen.

 

 

This simple approach is generally not advised unless the actual friction factor is known for an existing conveyor or similar conveyor.
