The program uses a FEA solver to model the lagging. This calculation is initiated by clicking the Simulate button menu item.

Some basic FEA simulation parameters are available for information and adjustment on the Simulation tab.  Only items in blue can be adjusted by the user.

Friction limits are used to determine when belt-to-lagging slip occurs within the simulation.

Mesh tolerances allow the user to refine the mesh of the lagging geometry should unstable results be apparent.
