Te= Energy + Main(Load, Tension) + Point Resistances

 

Energy

ΔTHn       = Lift or lower the material and belt

ΔTamn     = Continuously accelerate material to belt speed

 

Main (Rolling, Primary)

Load Independent

»ΔTssn    = Belt sliding on skirtboard seal

»ΔTisn     = Idler seal friction

Load Dependent

»ΔTiWn    = Idler load friction

»ΔTbin     = Visco-elastic indentation of belt

»ΔTimn    = Idler misalignment

»ΔTsbn    = Slider Beds

»ΔTsn      = Bulk materials sliding on skirtboards.

Load and Tension Dependent

»ΔTmzn    = Bulk materials trampling
