Hopper Shape

Two basic hopper shapes are typical.

Long rectangular or wedge shape Plane-Flow.

Symmetric or Conical.

Bin Shape

Two basic bin shapes are typical.

Long Rectangular plane-flow bin.

Symmetric or Conical.

The user can also indicate that there is No Bin.

Surcharge Shape

The surcharge shape depends on the bin shape and manner in which the bin is loaded.

With central loading, a symmetric bin would have a Conical surcharge.

For a plane-flow bin where the length is greater than the width, a Triangular shape would occur if a traveling feeding arrangement was used.

The user can also indicate that there is No Surcharge.
