Feeder Analyst™ is an add-on program to the Belt Analyst™ (BA) program for the design of bulk material handling conveyors. It can only be run with and from the Belt Analyst™ program.

Multiple feeders can be added to a single conveyor. They can also be placed on any carry flight.

The basic conveyor data is input in the Belt Analyst™ program:

Belt Width and belt speed.

Conveyor (not feeder) design capacity.

Material description, density and surcharge angle.

Flight section geometry data other than feeder section (flight 1 in the BA file).

Conveyor belt data.

Idler data for flight sections other than the feeder section.

All pulley data.

All drive data.

Takeup data.

Starting data.

Brake data.

Vertical curve data.

The Feeder AnalystTM program is used to input feeder data and information on the carry side of the conveyor in the feeder flight section.

Material properties influencing feeder performance.

Hopper, bin and surcharge dimensions.

Idler/Slider bed properties in the feeder section.

Skirtboard dimensions and properties in the feeder section.

The Belt AnalystTM program will calculate and output overall conveyor information.

The Feeder AnalystTM program will calculate and output information on the feeder
