Angle between the abscissa and the tangent of the curve representing the relationship of shearing resistance to normal stress acting between material and surface of another material.

It is recommended that this material property be quantified by testing as errors can be introduced by assuming a value. For preliminary analysis, the program will "guess" a value based on the material's angle of repose. This assumption can be modified on the Default Value screen.
