This is the location for inputting the default values pertaining to pulleys.

General Design Criteria

•The Pulley Force Multiplier is used as a multiplier to the calculated T1 and T2 tensions values to adjust the pulley resultant force used in the pulley design procedures.

•Bearing Clearance (Available only when using the Standard Pulley design mode).

•The shaft Maximum Turndown allowed; expressed as a ratio of bearing diameter to shaft diameter.

•Selection on whether turndowns are limited to 90º (Available only when using the Advanced Pulley design mode).

Auto Design Criteria

The Pulley Auto Design Criteria are used in the automatic preliminary selection of pulley specifications.

Lagging Friction Factors

The Lagging Friction Factors are used in combination with the lagging type user selection.
