Estimated takeup travel is sensitive to the elasticity of the conveyor belt. If the take-up carriage displacement for a specific stopping or starting condition is known, the takeup displacement calibration factor can be utilized to increase program accuracy.

Values are entered on the takeup folder.

•A value of “1.0” is the default, giving the standard travel estimate.

•Values greater than “1.0” result in more projected travel.

•Values less than “1.0” result in less projected travel.
