The user must input data to define the simulation of the conveyor.

Media_SimulaionTabMainWindowDA

Enter "Simulation Time" for duration of simulation in seconds.

All the DA "Stopping" cases will have the same simulation time in each BA case. All the DA "Starting" cases will have the same simulation time in each BA case.

“Time Increment” of simulation is typically about 0.01 to 0.05 seconds. A recommended value is used unless overridden. (halving the time increment should quadruple the accuracy)

The simulation time step should be small enough that further reductions will not substantively change the results.

"Number of elements” for FEA is value recommended and used by program.

Typically, this value is > the number of BA flights and < 100.

This data is used by the program to create the FEA model.

The "Damping Multiplier" affects the mass damping and stiffness damping factors utilized in the FEA analysis.

Higher values increase damping.

"Plot interval" is number of simulation time increments per plot interval; it is set to plot a point every 0.1 simulated seconds. The program will average the results over this interval.
